PRESCRIPTION FRAME WARRANTY

Frame Warranty:
All OutLaw Eyewear Tactical Aluminum Sunglasses come with an automatic 2-year warranty against Manufacturer's Defects on the frame, and as of 4/11/2022, it is extendable to 10 years upon registration. Please register here.

Disclaimer: For frame warranty service, we will repair or replace the frame (at our discretion) in a timely manner.

PRESCRIPTION LENS WARRANTY

Scratch Remake Warranty:
Customers may add an optional 2-year or 5-year Accidental Scratch Remake Warranty to their order. If the lenses become scratched through normal wear and tear, we will remake them once in the original prescription at no cost. This warranty does not cover catastrophic damage to the eyewear. Prescription changes are not eligible under this warranty. Complimentary domestic shipping is included; international customers are responsible for shipping costs.

Disclaimer: 5-year Accidental Scratch Remake Warranty covers the remaking of identical lenses with no prescription changes allowed. Verification of the current prescription is needed at the time of remake.

General Satisfaction Guarantee:
If you are not fully satisfied with your prescription lenses for any reason, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us. We will remake the lenses free of charge.

Doctor's Prescription Redo:
If your eye doctor identifies an error in your prescription, we will remake your lenses at no charge if notified within 14 days of delivery. Requests made within 30 days are subject to a $50 remake fee. A copy of the updated prescription must be provided.

Anti-Reflective Lens Coating:
The Anti-Reflective (AR) lens coating is warrantied for 1 year, provided the lenses are cleaned exclusively with our Clear Shot Lens Cleaning Gel. Use of alcohol-based sprays or wipes will void this warranty.

Progressive Lens Non-Adaptation Policy:
If you are unable to adjust to your progressive lenses, we offer a one-time remake to Single Vision lenses at no charge. Requests must be made within 21 days of receiving your glasses.

If your sunglasses are out of warranty and need repair, please contact us anyway as we can often help. We do our best to support our loyal customers for life. A repair or trade-up will be available so you can use your sunglasses for as long as you like. Often time we can send you a replacement part to take care of simple issues.

What Type Of Damages Are Covered Under Accidental Scratch Remake?
If your prescription lenses become scratched through normal use and you’ve purchased the Accidental Scratch Remake Warranty, you may request a one-time lens remake using the original prescription. This warranty does not cover damage caused by industrial or vehicle-related accidents. To maintain your warranty coverage, only use the lens cleaner provided with your warranty purchase. Cleaners containing alcohol may void the warranty. Additional bottles can be purchased anytime from the Accessories section on our website. Our tactical lens cleaning gel is safe to use on all brands of sunglasses, prescription glasses, weapon optics, and cell phones. 

Are Damages On Lenses Due To Alcohol Based Cleaners Covered?
Damage due to sunscreen, Alcohol, Alcohol based lens cleaners, non OutLaw lens cleaning products, military use, war, acts of god, or disasters are not covered under the standard warranty. A separate warranty is available for military or industrial use.

What Is The Proper Way To Clean My OutLaw Eyewear Sunglass Lenses?
To properly clean and maintain your Polycarbonate shatter resistant lenses, please use only our recommended OutLaw Eyewear Tactical Lens Cleaning Gel. Other cleaners and wipes contain alcohol that causes lens coatings to strip off and can eventually damage the lens material. This happens to all brands of Polycarbonate shatter resistant lenses. We state this in a very obvious way so customers get the most life out of their Outlaw Eyewear.
