These improve contrast for shooting and night riding and driving. It is really helpful. They also remove glare from oncomming headlights and street lights. I just wish I could use them better during the day. I'm not sure if they can be made to darken when its light outside or not. Perhaps that would be a Transition type lens. Im not sure if that exists or not. However, these are great, but not for daytime summertime use outdoors.
These are really good at night. I can ride at night with them. I shot with them once, and it helps. It also keeps all of the dust and wind out.
I love the glasses. I shoot with them, and I ride my HOG at night with them. My only complaint is that I can't wear them during the bright sunlight. However, they are not dark lenses, so I'm not really sure how they would do that. I recommend them.
I just got my pair, and the lenses enhance the limited light while protection my eyes from the environment. They are shatter resistant too. When I'm done shooting, I can use them on my bike for low-light riding.
